I would have given 4 star. 5th star is just to compensate for what others have rated. I am an Indian tourist who booked the property via booking.com unaware of the google rating. As soon as I saw the Google rating, I asked for a cancellation from booking.com. They denied with 100% cancellation charge. So yeah, had no choice but to hope for the best. As soon as arrived, the so called rude old lady(other reviews) welcomed us with open arms. She was very very sweet. Our room was located on 3rd floor with the best view and balcony. Bathroom was clean. Expect ants. They are everywhere in Positano. Rooms were clean too. Room service was also fast. As the name suggests, Palazzo Marzoli Resort, definitely its not a resort. But yeah rooms are big. Location is top notch. You walk mere 1 min for the bus stand for commuting anywhere. If you are an athlete you can choose to walk down or climb up the stairs to and from the beach. We went there on foot on the first day. We gave up. Bus is cheap, taxi is expensive. Mini Bar. Well we kept a daily check on the mini bar so they don’t charge us for nothing. Rest no idea if they charge falsely if you don’t take a count. Breakfast. Yes breakfast is not a big one. They have very limited options for breakfast and offer in-room dining only.
I cannot tell you how much I loved staying here. It was just the coolest looking hotel, every detail was gorgeous. The room having an incredible hot tub on the balcony was straight out of a dream. BUT the staff was so incredibly kind and loving and every time coming back felt like home.
Location and views were amazing, but that’s where it ends, breakfast was awful, 62 euros per night to house our car, only 10 euros in Sicily per night, the overall feel of the place was something wasn’t right, just dodgy and unprofessional, Positano was so beautiful! Definitely stay in Positano, but find somewhere more professional, pricing was ridiculous. Read the reviews, we can’t all be wrong.
