Great room overlooking the harbor. Friendly, helpful staff. Impressive breakfast of homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, and eggs to order. Recommend.

Outstanding family-run establishment with great care for customer service and attention to detail. The room was clean and modernized in an old building while keeping some of the traditional aspects that makes southern Italy a unique place to visit. The breakfast was plentiful and wonderfully made. Additionally, the parking spaces for guests made it very convenient to stay there the night. We couldn’t enjoy the welcome drink when we arrived, so they gave us one on our way out, which was a very nice touch! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Hotel, Let Down by Management Palazzo Matà Boutique Hotel has a lot of potential. The front desk staff and our waiter were absolutely wonderful—professional, warm, and attentive. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by an extremely unpleasant encounter with the hotel manager. While trying to access the dining room (with no clear signage or alternative route), we were aggressively shouted at by him for walking through what appeared to be the only available path via the kitchen. His behavior was shockingly rude and completely uncalled for, especially in a hospitality setting. It’s a shame, because the rest of the staff were excellent and clearly dedicated to creating a great experience. But it only takes one individual to ruin what should have been a lovely stay. Management should seriously reconsider whether this kind of attitude has any place in an otherwise well-run establishment.
