Palazzo Niccolini al Duomo exceeded all our expectations! The location is simply unbeatable—just steps away from the magnificent Duomo, allowing us to soak in the beauty of Florence right from our window. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering personalized recommendations and warm, attentive service. The historical charm of the rooms is breathtaking, with elegant frescoes, antique furnishings, and a sense of grandeur that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Despite the historic setting, the facilities were top-notch, combining old-world charm with modern comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious and comfortable experience. We cannot wait to return!

Family owned, the owner was at the desk most of the time and it shows (multi generation- check out history online). Pleasant staff and beautiful, well maintained facility. Large bath, large rooms, nice public sitting area with amazing frescos. That said, breakfast is the really big hit. I've never seen better included with a room, it has anything you want! The location is perfect, walking distance from everything, on Duomo Plaza. The associated restaurant on the street is excellent as well, perfect for rainy days.

A very luxurious hotel with spectacular room, especially the royal suite. Excellent location. The view from the room was amazing even the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore were under construction. There is one thing not quite expected from a 5 stars hotel was the service. I sent emails months in advance to organise a surprise dinner in room and confirmed through email and they total forgot it. Which made me feel frustrated and changed the my impression of this hotel. I asked the lady in the front desk but she just acted unbothered and negative about it. I even showed the emails that I went back and forth with the hotel, but she just responded like not her responsibility. A little bit disappointed. So if you guys have any special requests for the hotel, just keep reminding them about it. But over all, such a nice and unique hotel.
