Beautiful hotel ! The location is perfect to avoid the cruise-crowd and you can reach the old town with a quick taxi ride. The rooms are air-conditioned and quiet. Restaurant is very good and all staff are friendly. The hotel has a lot of stairs but they will help you carry your luggage ;)

We had a fantastic stay ! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt so genuine and authentic. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We stayed here for 5 nights in one of the family suites. We had a generally positive experience and loved the spectacular location, the quiet luxury of the décor, and the wonderful terrace. The staff were generally very warm and helpful and we liked and used all the different outdoor lounging/eating spaces. However, given the price of our stay we were very disappointed with some of the finer details of the stay. The TV in the room didn’t work for the length of our stay and looked as though it hadn’t done for some time. The bikes were in poor condition (we spent a long time pumping up tires and trying to get them fit to use but had to abandon our planned bike ride as it turned out that one of them had a puncture). When we raised these issues with the staff team they said they would help/investigate but didn’t resolve them. The bikes and paddleboards cost extra to hire, which I was a bit shocked by given what we were paying per night to stay here, and given their condition. We asked twice to have the sauna switched on, but it didn’t heat above about 30 degrees. We complained to reception and were eventually told that it’s a type of sauna that isn’t meant to be hot, which wasn’t credible. There was no sign of the yoga classes mentioned on the website. On our first evening we ate in the restaurant by the water. The setting and three of the meals were wonderful, but the fourth meal (a risotto) arrived 30 minutes after the other dishes and when it finally came out was undercooked and very under-seasoned. The waiter was very apologetic and embarrassed. Payment for our stay was taken up front when we arrived which we felt was an attempt to reduce any leverage that people would have when complaining about their experience. We weren't offered any compensation for all these issues and no one from the hotel has asked us for any feedback on how our stay was. So all in all, it is a wonderful place but the attention to detail was lacking and I felt as though the hotel was trading on its location and not quite delivering what I would expect for the price tag. If you just want to lie on the terrace you will probably be very happy with the experience, but if you’re hoping to use the additional facilities you might be disappointed.
