Rooms are small but lovely (ours included a terrace) and the hotel is close to Via Toledo, Via Spaccanapoli and Via Tribunali
We were guests at the end of November in this splendid Art Nouveau style building. The proximity to the most beautiful areas of the city, the care they show in welcoming customers, pushed us to choose this accommodation and we did not regret it. The excellent breakfast served at the table, coffee machine available in the room and splendid terrace made our stay special. Rooms furnished with care and remarkable taste, excellent night's sleep in a very comfortable bed, perfect cleanliness and wi fi service. Thanks again for your hospitality, a special thanks to Francesco, for the precious advice on places to visit near Naples. The rooms booked are 404 and 405. See you soon.
Not impressed from the outset. Our train to Naples was delayed so we called ahead to warn them that our arrival will be around 7.30 pm. It was explained to us that there are no check ins after 8 pm so the pressure was on. Arrived at 7.50 very hot and bothered, only to be greeted at reception by a sign stating reception closes at 9. Staff on reception found it amusing that we had just rushed with 2 children and 4 cases to make the 8 pm demand. Positive was room was clean and AC worked well, negatives include, shower door was off its runner, shower temp control was dangerous, either scalding hot or cold, and pull out bed was rock hard. Central location but I would be cautious if traveling with young children, immediately outside there are issues like; mountains of rubbish daily that seem to get cleaned in the morning, dog crap over the paths and a regular amount of homeless people skip diving for food scraps. Worst accommodation in our 4 weeks of travelling Europe, and certainly not the cheapest we booked.
