Palazzo Santo Spirito

We stayed here for 2 nights, and loved every minute. The hotel is beautiful, clean and with so much atmosphere. It was an old nunnery and it has the original frescoes all around the hotel with a beautiful atmospheric courtyard and restaurant. We travelled as a family of 5 and each of us have loved our stay here. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. It’s been such a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Visiting La Citta Alta is a must too. It’s a 15 min walk from the hotel to the cable car and then a few mins on the cable car to the city Alta. This hotel is first class and I will come back and stay again. Thank you.

The place has everything… but the staff kills it all. Absolute rudeness from A to Z, and be aware of the second parking (not the same price) “You can call my manager”, “No problem for bad reviews” Also, the breakfast is 1-star-airport-hotel level. Avoid at all costs if you care about how you’d be treated. The rooms and place is clean and like pictured, which adds to the bitterness when you leave the place.

The hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The breakfast was so poorly organized that it’s unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The coffee machine wasn’t working, and the staff didn’t inform guests – it turned out later that you had to request coffee, and they would bring it from the kitchen. The staff couldn’t keep up with refilling food, seating guests, or clearing tables. There were three employees on duty, but their efficiency was close to zero. The breakfast selection was extremely limited for a hotel of this level. Additionally, the window in the room was positioned about two meters above the floor, unusually high for the second floor. Overall, the staff appeared indifferent to the guests. I definitely won’t return to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
