Palazzo Segreti

We stayed here from Aug. 21 to Aug. 24, 2008. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. It feels much bigger than advertised. Great location for shopping and sightseeing. The best part is the staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive to us. We were so happy and did not want to leave. Front desk person Atithio(?) was very helpful with our transfer booking to and from Lake Como to avoid the nightmare train and buses situation. Also the breakfast service staff was amazing. We love the coffees that they kept making for us. Amazing three days!

Small (18 room) boutique hotel, on a quiet side street in the heart of Milan, close to many major attractions (the Duomo, La Scala, the castle). Friendly staff, superb breakfast in a lovely dining room (hot items, fresh fruits, excellent fresh-made pastries, great coffee). The breakfast choices are so many and varied that you can make this a major meal of the day to fuel your exploration of the city Spacious, well - equipped bathrooms (great shower, a bidet). Highly recommended.

The staff and breakfast were great! I stayed on the first floor, and the room itself was clean and very spacious. The location was also excellent—we were just a short walk from the Milan Cathedral and many popular shops. However, the bathroom could use an update. The shower tiles had some mold, and the overall design made it uncomfortable to use—especially when turning on the shower. The sink area was also inconvenient, with hardly any counter space for toiletries or makeup. It definitely needs better lighting as well.
