Palazzolo Resort Anghiari

Ideal place in Tuscany! Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) spent almost a week in this great house. We indeed had a wonderful stay. It was very clean, spotless, hats off who took care of this. The house consists of 4 bedrooms, almost each with a separate WC, a large kitchen area and a modern equipment (spacious refrigerator as well). The rooms are very delicately designed and indeed very modern and comfortable. The house also has a private terrace with a grill equipment and dining / coffee tables - fantastic experience having breakfast or dinner here. The terrace has a sunroof, so it’s not too hot during summer days. We also received fresh zucchini and eggs several times from a host, who lives nearby. What a great experience! Firstly we were a bit sceptical that we wouldn’t have privacy, but our concerns were absolutely ungrounded and we enjoyed each minute being in Palazzolo resort. The house has a private outdoor pool which is amazing, though unheated with comparatively cold water, but very refreshing. The nearest restaurant and bar is just a few hundred meters away in Tavernelle, and much more variety of places to eat in a historical medieval Anghiari, which is just a few minutes away with a car. Next time we visit Tuscany we would definitely come back here. All in all - excellent stay! We were so glad we managed to find this hidden gem.

I highly recommend it! The house is beautiful, decorated to a very high standard, has everything you need, including a wonderful garden from which you can enjoy exceptional sunsets :) Even in the middle of summer inside there are very pleasant temperatures in which it is possible to stand and, above all, sleep :) Mirko and his father-in-law are very nice hosts, who are very responsive and try to meet all requests of guests :) 10/10

We spent 8 nights at Palazzolo Resort. It was ideal for our family (1 couple and 1 teen) and our friends (one couple and an independent man) also. The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for cooking. The terrace was great during the hot days, because it is located in the shadow on the top of a small hill next to the old Tuscan main building. We did not miss the air conditioning from the rooma even if the daytimes were extremely warm (35°+). The owner's father in law gave us fresh home planted veggies and eggs almost every day, that helped a lot to enjoy the fantastic Italian raw materials and cuisine. The quality-price ratio of this accomodation is beyond good. Anghiari is one of the most charming small town in Tuscany, the old town itself is a hidden gem, especially during the night. The pizza at Baldaccio Bar is fantastic.
