Palermo In Suite Aparthotel Shs

Amazing place! I had a problem with my airbnb a couple blocks away from Palermo In Suites and needed a last minute place to stay late at night. Even though it was almost midnight, Ivan came over immediately to check me in. I could not have asked for a better place to stay and wish I had known about it sooner! I ended up staying an extra night because I loved it so much. I stayed in two different rooms and both were spotless, air conditioned, and with all the amenities you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. The hospitality is unmatched and I greatly appreciated my time here.

The apartment was decent and new but not as shown on the pictures online. No coziness like we were hoping from the pictures. The apartment was clean enough in most areas but the bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower, see more below) and the outdoor area was extremely dirty. The response to my wife’s review below is disappointing and not honest at all. We got the “deluxe apartment” we booked and did not get upgraded as is claimed in the response. The apparent excrement on the outdoor area couldn’t have been from our dogs as they were not even outside and they didn’t even set foot in the bathroom so there is no way dog hair could have been in the shower. I had to clean the shower drain before taking the first shower (at night, so no maid available) and found long blond hair was blocking the drain. When we moved into the apartment the sink was already dirty and there were empty toiletries on top of the tropical shower head from previous guests which clearly shows cleaning wasn’t taken too serious. And the claiming there was dog hair everywhere is absolutely ridiculous as we even swept the floor before leaving and the dogs were groomed before the hotel stay and brought their own beds. It’s just easy to blame us as we brought dogs which were announced as a big and a medium sized dog which they are by their weight. And yes, we did not ask for a change of bed sheets and towels on a two night stay as we are eager to save resources on order to protect the environment. It’s truly disappointing that a hotel responds with dishonesty to a honest review but this tells a lot, too... We wouldn’t recommend.

Mold everywhere smells so bad, and rooms are in bad shape and poorly maintained. No transport is included from the airport even though it's stated that. There is an upcharge after you will sleep the night. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never be back.
