Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa

Had a great last week and a bit! Unfortunately, when I arrived, the AC was out, but the staff did everything in their power to make the experience enjoyable while stuck in an impossible situation. From Zubaer at the bar to Jan and Henry on the beach, to Sean the concierge, it was evident that the staff had great care for our experience. The valet was always prompt and over communicative. Had one night where we had no water from the taps in the middle of the night, but that was resolved by the time I was up to shower for the day. Incredible location, beautiful grounds, and a great time overall!

Stayed here for a weekend in mid August. We were upgraded from 1 bedroom to 2 bedrooms which was a nice surprise. Grounds look nice and clean with great swimming pools. Most staff members were friendly. Beach was few steps away! But there were a few things that the hotel needs to do better with: 1. AC was broken the first day of our visit - they comped us though which was reasonable 2. King mattress in room 908 is OLD and worn out - looking at the mattress tag this bed is 13 years old!! Marriott should replace mattresses at 10 years max, besides this mattress has clear indents in them and is not the most comfortable! - see photo of the mfg date! 3. Valet parking is $40 expensive - their mobile car order system was broken the first day and they tried to charge us for more nights of valet but that got adjusted. 4. One night a valet worker was high on weed judging by the smell and how he looked. 5. Room service was very slow and sometimes items didn’t even show up. 6. Pool area would run out of towels often and we’d have to chase down someone to notify. 7. TVs are small and tired in the rooms. 8. Shower was sometimes temperamental with the temperature. Overall a decent stay with some annoying snags.

Titanium Elite member here. My husband & I were just at this hotel for our anniversary. We called ahead (like always) and asked to get a nice upgrade for our special weekend. We were told we would get the upgrade. Upon arrival- there was no upgrade- we were put on a low floor and had to stand up on the balcony to see the view. The AC was not working well- the freezer was broken. We couldn’t find ice, so we called to the front desk and were told they would bring us a bag of ice—— the ice never came. We went downstairs to get some advil and snacks and to our surprise the shop was closed. On the bright side- We met Maria (pool service) she was absolutely amazing and went out of her way to get us everything we wanted. Luckily, she made us happy. Just sad that we didn’t get an upgrade or any service on our very special weekend away. We thought being a Titanium Elite would at least get us a higher room and some air conditioning. We really want to give this hotel another chance.
