Beautiful location, just out of the madness but with easy access for those who want it. A virtually private beach that's beautiful. Exceptional grounds with a stunning, ornate Coy Carp pond and soon to be a couple of mini goats. The owner, when he is in town is a very nice guy. I highly recommend a stay here.
It was really good experience. We enjoyed our vacation at Palm Grove. Clean and comfortable. A bit far from the city center but i definetely recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel for one night. Our condo was clean, nicely renovated, has a kitchen with microwave, cooker and large fridge. The bathroom is spacious, exactly a bath, not a shower cubicle. There is a balcony, TV, sofa and double bed, but not very big. The territory of the hotel is quite big, with two swimming pools, which are lit by the sun all day long, so they are warm. There are no nightclubs nearby, so it is quiet, but in the morning in the neighbouring house somebody turned on the radio loudly, my wife woke up because of this, it was unpleasant. There is a beach 500 metres away, but we did not go swimming there as the water was dirty. In 20 minutes by car is a “military beach” at the Thai Navy naval base, there is clean water and you can swim without problems. Some negative points. there was a problem with hot water, the pressure was weak, when switching from the tap to the shower it poured for about 20 seconds and then switched off. If you want to stay here for a long time, keep this in mind. Breakfast is quite poor (actually, as everywhere else in Thailand in inexpensive places). There is no buffet, the food is ordered: rice, omelette and sausages. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. But keep in mind that we stayed there for one night only.
