Palm House Boutique Hotel and Spa

As locals we decided to pop in for Saturday breakfast. Friendly service but I think the chap was new. Breakfast was very tasty. Didn’t love the way it was served but you can always ask for it to be done differently. Good coffee. We sat outside with the heater on. (One thing I’d change is the salt and pepper in bowls, not very hygienic) We decided to try the spa later and it was honestly one of the best massages I have had. We will be returning in August for the winter special. Great new local discovered.

My skin has never felt so rejuvenated, and I left feeling completely refreshed. Following the spa treatment, I indulged in their afternoon tea, and it was an absolute delight. The selection of teas was exquisite, and each bite of the pastries, sandwiches, and scones was more delicious than the last. The presentation was stunning, and it was the perfect way to extend the luxurious experience. Overall, this was one of the best spa and afternoon tea experiences I’ve had. The combination of superb service, relaxation, and delicious treats made for an unforgettable afternoon. I can't wait to return for another indulgent day of pampering!

Palm House is a beautifully kept manor with real charm and character. The setting is peaceful, and the attention to detail throughout the property is clear — from the tasteful interiors to the well-kept garden. The food and drink offering is a real standout. Every meal feels thoughtful and well-executed, with fresh ingredients and a strong sense of care behind it. The staff are warm, professional, and always happy to help — striking just the right balance between friendly and discreet. Combined with a lovely on-site spa, it all makes for a genuinely relaxing and memorable stay.
