We stayed at Hotel Rotana in El Alamein for almost 10 days, and it was a fantastic experience for our family. The beach is calm and perfect for kids, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent every day the F&B team did an amazing job. The water sports were a big hit with the kids, and my wife enjoyed plenty of relaxation time. Overall, it’s a great spot for families looking for a mix of fun and rest. Highly recommended!
I recently stayed at the Rotana Palma Bay Hotel on the North Coast and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially for families. The suite we booked was spacious and well-equipped, perfectly accommodating two adults and two kids, providing a comfortable home-away-from-home feel. Upon arrival, I did notice that the beach wasn't very clean on the first day, which was a bit disappointing. However, the rest of our stay made up for that, as the beach conditions improved significantly. The surrounding environment was lovely, making it a great spot for relaxation. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, featuring a good variety of options that catered to different tastes. However, I felt that the patisserie section could use some improvement, as the quality didn’t quite match the rest of the offerings. The animation team provided entertainment for the kids, but I wanted a bit more variety and enthusiasm from them. While they were nice, the activities weren't as rich or engaging as I had hoped. One downside to consider is the price, which was nearly $400 a day. While the accommodations and amenities were enjoyable, I did feel that it was on the higher end for what was offered. Overall, Rotana Palma Bay Hotel is a solid option for families looking for a comfortable stay, but there are certainly areas for improvement to enhance the experience further.
