Nice place but a little away from town. You can't take a walk around the area as there are only a few people around. But the view of the hotel is okay. They also have a microwave in their rooms, which I think is cool, especially for travellers.
I stayed at the Palmeiras Suite Hotel for 4 nights on a work trip. It was a comfortable stay. The reason wht it is not 5 stars is the extremely bright lights outside the hotel at night and the curtains that were falling off the curtainrail. Try as you like, you cannot 100% block out the lights at night. Breakfast was good but do not go after 8am as some of the fruit were finished after the early morning crowd was through. The hotel is conveniently located close to the business area where my company is located. There is a Chocolatier, Jool, at the hotel. It is expensive, but the chocolates are very tasty, and the boxes in which it comes beautiful. It therefore makes a great gift. We had dinner at the rooftop bar, twice. Both times the food was good, the service quick and you have a lovely view of Luanda over the rooftop pool.
The Kitchen restaurant at the floor is great and busy,the roof top is quiet and calm place to have a good time with your self ,the view from the top is awesome.the swimming pool is not that big as you see it on the photos.great place to spend time.
