Well we have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Morocco and due to our experience we would say this is 3.5 at the best. It is a fight for a sun-bed in the mornings . If you leave for 10 mins to get a drink, someone will pinch your sun umbrella . They ran out of water one afternoon. The whole place looks very tired. There is one small cart doing all the drinks for hundreds of people. But it is a very clean hotel. I decided to post this as listening to many others complaining of the same thing.
3 star at best. The place is in a horrible state of disrepair. There is hardly anyone here to service. No coffee in the room and hardly a person to be found to help. The bathroom showers are filled with calcium and other build up and the tub barely drains. It takes three times to flush the toilet. I’m completely perplexed on how this anyhow - anywhere equals an excellent hotel. Just trying to get ice to your room is an ordeal. The room views are nice and the grounds are okay but again need a lot of repair. The pool is freezing and the spa was practically empty. Also only one or two shops in the area were open and there were very few meal / restaurant options … IMO keep looking because right now it’s not here.
I was here for a work conference for a few days. AC was not working for where the event was held on the first day in 35 C weather and on the final day of an event there were many technical issues. The food was the same day after day. Last day in the afternoon I left my backpack in the gym. I only realized shortly before my flight when packing, the gym had closed at that time. I emailed them, no reply. Called them, the guy literally hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. The hotel itself is far from the city centre. The pool and the gym are okay, only redeeming points. Definitely not five stars! I would give 2 star review if it wasn't for their response to my lost bag.
