Palmon Bay Hotel & Spa

Palmon Bay Hotel & Spa offered a mixed bag experience, with some aspects shining while others fell short of a 4-star expectation. On the upside, the outdoor area was a definite highlight for relaxation, offering a private beach and a pool area with convenient restaurant/bar service. The indoor spa facilities were great, including infrared, steam, and Finnish saunas, a jacuzzi, and an indoor pool with complimentary tea service. We also appreciated the easy transportation service to the airport and found the hotel to be very clean. A major standout was the hotel's rooftop restaurant Olive Terrace, which we genuinely felt was the best dining experience in the region nearby. The balconies on the rooms were a nice touch too. However, there were notable downsides. The rooms were surprisingly small, making it quite difficult to comfortably fit our luggage. Sleep quality was affected every night by loud club parties and crowded streets/restaurants/bars nearby that continued until 1-2 at night. The breakfast was unfortunately below expectations, particularly the poor quality coffee from the machines (likely instant coffee), and the food selection was not great, focusing heavily on meat and egg-based options. Overall, while the spa and dining were exceptional, the small rooms, noise issues and breakfast kept the experience from being consistently enjoyable. Still, I would say that the resort is likely among the best ones on Igalo/Herceg Novi, based on our 3 night stay from Wed to Sat on June.

Nice hotel, but do upgrade your room if you can. We're in a deluxe room with an apparent garden view. (Bottom floor in a stuffy corner and fir trees directly in front, can see about 10') very disappointed. Rooms clean thou, great bathroom, nice bed etc. Pool areas are very nice and neighbouring beach. The spa is nice and the staff in there are amazing, staff all round very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is OK, but food not hot, including the dinner we ate and did not finish. Great restaurants just outside thou.

I would rate it a solid 2*. The room is small and outdated. They do not provide an iron, only a chargeble iron service. The pillows are like bags with sand. The matress was not comfortable. The pool area was okay, the view was gorgeous. The beach part is narrow, the stairs to the sea are covered with seaweed which is disgusting and slippery. It’s better not to take the breakfast as it does not provide a great choice. However, the lady working there was very nice and made an omelette for us. Talking about spa, it was really nice and clean. The outside area is very beautiful unlike the interior.
