Our host was responsive, the room was clean, and right in the center easy to get to the promenade and all of the architectural attractions. Highly highly recommend these rooms!

Nothing about this place is real. They call it a “luxury hotel” — it’s not even close. It’s a regular apartment in a shady building, illegally turned into a rental room. You’ll hear everything from the other rooms. We spent the night listening to people next door having sex like they were in our bed. Walls are paper-thin. Zero privacy. The check-in was a nightmare. No reception, just a random guy showing up hours late. No clear instructions. No one answers the phone. Location? Dangerous at night. Dark alley, no lights, drunk people everywhere. Didn’t feel safe walking back. Everything looks better in the pictures. In reality, it’s small, loud, dirty, and badly maintained. We booked “luxury” and got scam vibes instead. Never again. Avoid this place. You’ve been warned.

Avoid at all costs – worst experience ever in Split Everything about this listing is misleading. They advertise it as a luxury hotel on Booking.com — it’s not even close. It’s just a random apartment turned into a room, inside a sketchy building with no proper reception, no staff, and no service. We had to wait over 6 hours just to check in, with zero communication. Nobody replied to messages or calls. We finally got access to the room at 3:00 AM — after being told, “Sorry, we didn’t see the call.” That’s the level of professionalism. The location? Terrible. To get in at night, you have to walk through a dark, dangerous alley. Homeless people sleep in front of the entrance, and the smell from the garbage bins downstairs is absolutely nauseating — it literally comes up into the room. No elevator. Four floors of filthy, graffiti-covered stairs. And yes, we had to carry all our luggage up ourselves. Inside the room, we couldn’t sleep because we could hear everything from the next-door neighbors… including their full-on intimate activities all night long. This is hands down the worst place to stay in Split. It’s not safe, not clean, not what it claims to be, and definitely not luxury. Avoid it if you want to actually enjoy your trip.
