Palms Resort by Hosteeva

Rooms were good. The view from balcony was great. I enjoyed the breeze and soothing waves. I enjoyed most part of our stay. A couple of issues we faced were: there was no way to clean dishes unless you buy supplies or pay $50 at checkout. The bathroom was excessively humid even with the exhaust fan. Otherwise everything worked out well for us.

Overall ok. 3 of us stayed for 6 days in an oceanfront balcony room south tower. View is good except the north tower blocks the beach view north. They gave us enough towels for one day everyday. You must bring your dirty towels to them. The outdoor lounge area didn't get mowed and I witnessed a guest spitting on the ground which I found gross so wear your shoes at all times. The outdoor pool is small. The bathroom is very small. The room had 2 air conditioners and one leaked water all around it. Some of the rooms have carpet good thing ours didn't. Also be prepared for guests smoking Marijuana on their balcony. I've seen security in the evening but there will be no guest services promptly at 4p.m.

I 10/10 do not recommend the palms resort ever!!! We checked in 7/21-7/27 We get to our room Room 604 and it’s a total nightmare for the amount of money we spent my husband and I immediately tried to contact our host to see about switching rooms that room was full of mold it was everywhere !! I have 2 children with asthma and I told them that and the call back to check out another room 2 floors up … It looked a tad bit better but it was an immediate mold and mildewy smell as soon as you open the door and each time you opened the door… I called back later to tell them I still wasn’t please asked for a refund and was only refunded 1 day out of a 7 day 6 night trip !!! I’m livid and ready just to pack up and go home !! My inlaws come down 7/22 in which they were given the exact room we were moved out of 604 !!! And they called and were moved In a different hotel in which they had to change rooms 3 times total !!! I’m so unhappy with how we were treated on this trip I will never and I mean never ever spend money with the palms !!! They obviously don’t take care of the rooms but charge you all this money to live in filth !!! My trip was ruined and I don’t appreciate it and I hope this reaches who it needs too I am also planning to contact the health department for the amount of mold that’s on everything in these rooms!!!
