I stayed at the Bitez Paloma Family Club with my cousin, and it’s really beautiful there. It’s a small hotel, but very cozy and nice. The pool is great — there are pools for babies, children, and adults, so everything is included. The staff are also very kind, friendly, and helpful. The food is very good, the area is lovely, and the city is not far away — just 10 to 15 minutes by bus or taxi. You can have both here: an adventurous vacation or a relaxing family holiday. A very beautiful hotel — I can highly recommend it!
We really enjoyed our family stay at Paloma Family Club—better than expected for the price, so great value. The staff created a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The kids loved the pool with the slide and the mini zoo. We didn’t use the kids’ club (closed on Sundays), but the beach, promenade, and Bodrum centre offered plenty to do. Food was decent with lots of salads, though mains could be more exciting (although we enjoyed the grilled fish the most). The Italian restaurant looked good, but we didn’t try it as it was fully booked. Downsides: lots of smoking everywhere (a cultural norm, but not great for non-smokers/children), beds a bit firm, and bathroom cleaning could be improved—some mould and mildew remained despite reporting it. Overall, a good hotel we’d return to.
The rooms are very small and outdated, especially bathroom should be renovated as it looks dirty and rusty. The rooms close to the bar have to deal with loud music everyday up until midnight - we reported it twice, once it was resolved by reception, second time I was ignored by reception stuff. Food was the same every second day, no theme days with specific food, like italian, or greek cuisine - rather the same meat and fish all the time. But the quality was medium, ot too bad. There is a problem with sunbeds, seems like there is too many people for too little sunbeds, and people put their towels on the sunbeds at night, so at early morning there are no sunbeds available even though most of them are empty. The beach is not great. Drinks are terrible - too sweet and artificial - the only drinkable things are white wine and beer. Some stuff members are nice, however bartenders keep on putting music louder and change songs every few seconds which is annoying. The location is good and transportation to bodrum is cheap and easy. Also good a'la carte restaurant and very nice employee working there. Stuff speaks little English so it is difficult to communicate with them. Cleaning was sufficient and in general hotel was clean.
