Paloma Oceana Resort

Fabulous family friendly hotel on the beach that ticks all the boxes. Just returned from this hotel last week with our family of 4 (two kids 10&7). We had a family interconnecting room, which was large and spacious and great storage options. Both rooms had a balcony and honestly it was always clean/tidy and complementary mini bar in each was a huge win. Bars everywhere always friendly, well stocked and never a huge queue. Pools were clean, stunning and huge! Good temperature and well life guarded. A huge selection of entertainment for adults and kids alike. Food always good selection (salads were epic). We only tried 1 of the 4 specialist restaurants which are included but hard to book into. The one we tried was deposit but no kids choices. Kids club was great, and being right on the beach we chose that for some of the day and pool at other points. Perfect!!

I stayed here for 10 days with my partner. This was our first holiday away together and we were a bit worried at first as we didn’t know what to expect. When we walked off the coach a man was waiting for us to take our luggage and bring it to our room. The service here is amazing, they always make sure you have a drink and always cater to your needs. The food was lovely but can get a bit repetitive but it is an all inclusive after all. Our room was always clean and clean sheets applied every day. We had a mini fridge and this got refilled every day without asking. There are 3 big pools and 2 small ones for the children. The entertainment is amazing and there was something new every night. Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Arrived in the middle of the night, 4 adults, 2children and 2 infants. When we got to our room it was full of ants, so rooms were changed, house keeping arrived really quickly with the cots and bedding for new room. Overall most of the staff were really nice, although some of the waiters particularly in the main restaurant were rude, they would be super helpful if you tipped them but just ignored you if you didn’t. On checkout day I asked if we could pay for the room until 3.30 in the afternoon but was refused saying hotel was full and we could use the spa facilities for a shower and change, however my Son was asked to leave the area with his twins (18 months old) because they were making too much noise and spoiling the atmosphere which I understand but really frustrating and not flexible at all, the hotel needs to be more flexible particularly as it was 45 degrees just thankful we didn’t have a later flight. The location was great right on the beach and overall we had a great stay.
