Pan Pacific Vancouver

The Pan Pacific Hotel is a stunning waterfront property with an unbeatable location. One of the best parts is watching the cruise ships come and go in the morning right from your room. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s a great base for exploring downtown Vancouver. Only downside: the breakfast could use some improvement in variety and quality. But overall, it’s a great stay and I’d definitely come back.

We stayed a few nights at this hotel prior to our cruise and the location and convenience definitely did not disappoint. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room and got to enjoy a swim at the pool too. On our first day, we had breakfast and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere plus the variety of hot/cold items at the buffet was very enjoyable. We were lucky to have met Dan while he was attending to the buffet. He is truly the best, it was our first time in Vancouver and he gave us some great pointers on activities that we can do in the area and how to get around. We tried to go back to the restaurant to thank him the next day but did not see him :( If someone from the hotel reads this, kindly pass on our warmest gratitude to Dan! The hotel was well situated relative to the cruise terminal. Restaurants were excellent. Rooms were less than great. As a couple, we would have preferred a King bed as opposed to two full size beds. Single sink in the washroom was cumbersome for a couple too. Really did not like the dirty rugs in the elevators. All in all, On but could have been better. Internet service OK
