Panan Krabi Resort

A good hotel in a perfect location, without a private beach but close to everything. The pool is a bit small, so the kids didn’t enjoy going in, but the massage was excellent, as was the Four Islands tour we booked through the hotel. Room cleanliness was acceptable, though there was noticeable wear and tear—the faucets looked worn, and the shower door was completely missing, so water splashed all over the bathroom. The hotel is divided into buildings, with up to ten rooms on each floor, so the elevators aren’t crowded and arrive quickly. Room service and the front desk were excellent, but the lobby and reception area are open and no air conditioning and also by standing up - not comfortable tor the guests and employees. The hotel restaurant D-plee was also very good, with reasonable prices. Especially great service from Nen, Mai, Su, Ket - thank you!

Much better than nearby 4 star hotels, however slightly costly than those. I wonder why it is not a 5 star? Excellent rooms, service, courteous staffs, cleanliness and everything. Main pools on ground floor excellent for kids and adults alike. Rooftop small pool has excellent views of cliffs and sea (far). Pool timings are 8 am to 7 pm. Both pools accessible by all guests. Personal pools rooms also available. Excellent breakfast including 4-5 veg and Indian food items. All these at comparatively good prices through Trip.com. Spare minimum half day to enjoy the resort itself.

The hotel is average at best. It feels old with basic decor and poorly maintained. Water was leaking on the corridor floors. The rooms were poorly cleaned and we had to twice ask the room to be made up. Pool was cold and pool towels were old and grubby looking. Gym equipment was old. View was unattractive. Breakfast buffet was overrated. Overall, it seemed very overpriced for what it was and compared badly to other hotels we've used in Thailand. Would not stay again.
