Pandora Vista Retreat

I'd say one the best hotels in zhangjiajie. Linda, the (English-speaking) lady who manages everything there, is an energetic and caring individual, who arranges everything from the pick-up/drops (airport, hotel, sight seeing areas) to food of your choice, & makes sure to provide a very comfy stay. She's the soul of that hotel. The hotel is very near to avatar mountains point, & the hotel provides pick-up & drop, helps with buying the tickets, and even helped us hire a decent guide! Lovely rooms, good ambience in the middle if the mountains.. Overall, extremely satisfied with our stay.

Nice view

Overrated, a beautiful location and the staff is great. But for 5-star rated hotel does not reach the standards and the food in the only available restaurants is 1st terrible and second not allergies or disease-friendly. They were quite reluctant to make a coeliac and fat-free meal. Also, the toilet in the common areas was rather disgusting. Overall if it was a 3-star rated hotel I would give it 5 stars. But as a 5-star, it only gets 3 for the staff and location.
