The hotel was a good place to stay this year. The shower had a tremendous power and infinite supply of hot water, which felt good after a day of driving. The sheets were clean, the beds comfortable - I wouldn't expect more for this price.

A very good hotel/pension. We stopped here for a single night, while traveling, but I wouldn't have minded to stay here for longer. While the single beds are quite short compared to the double bed (we were here with 4 tall Dutch guys, and even the shortest of the bunch was too tall for the single beds), all beds were very comfortable. The bathroom has a great shower, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. On top of that the balcony (our room happened to have a private balcony, but there is also a community one) was a nice bonus.

Absolutely horrid place - don’t stay here! It gets one star only for its location to the Abbey. I don’t want to waste more time on this review so I’m going to write why I don’t recommend this place! 1/ The room smelt bad, dusty and musty. 2/ the curtains were falling off the rail and they hadn’t bothered to reattach it for new guests 3/ the carpet rugs in the room were so dirty like they hadn’t ever been vacuumed or washed 4/ The floor was horrid - like it had not been vacuumed or mopped. 5/ The furniture was poorly maintained, dusty corners, chipped and rotting wood. 6/ poorly kept walls- scratches and cobwebs 7/ uncomfortable beds were lumpy and the spring box bed was extremely wobbly and sounded worn out. 8/ the duvets smelt old and musty, duvet covers were not clean or fresh looking 8/ my husband, and I felt itchy after sleeping. I assume because of some dust mites 9/the room smelt dusty and like smelly feet- it’s the best way to describe it. 10/ the bathroom smelt like it hadn’t had a proper deep clean. Since it’s a small room with a double bed and two singles squished in with next to no walking space, the foul bathroom could be smelt in the bedroom because of the poor ventilation 11/The shower had good water pressure but the holder was broken 12/ sink cabinet was severely peeling off, dirty towel rail, dirty shower cubicle 13/ the supposedly clean towels were stained and dirty. 14/ the floor mat in the bathroom was disgusting... just look at the pictures. 15/ they wanted the rooms to be paid by card but the breakfast to be paid in cash and everything upfront... now I know why.... 16/ no room amenities at all, no phone , no kettle and no water 17/ we had our 10 week old baby with us, there was one fridge out in the hallway not switched on! 18/breakfast- I found hair and plastic on the food .. I won’t add more here
