Really great hotel. We stayed for one week as a family of four. Unfortunately all the family rooms were booked so we had a triple room and made it work with a small air mattress on the floor for our youngest child. The breakfast on the rooftop was lovely every morning. I wish they’d have more seasonal fruit! But nothing else to complain about. The location is great and we took the ferry to Capri for the day one time and it was very convenient to be based here for the week. The staff was very nice, especially Theresa at the bar next to the pool. The pool was amazing for small kids. We are sad to go!
I’m honestly surprised by all the negative review that are posted here. I was reading the “newest” review on the way to the hotel and it made me want to turn around. I’m glad I didn’t. We booked two rooms here and our rooms were clean and mattresses are comfy (unlike other reviewer stated). The view from the room is stunning and the breakfast view is amazing while I drink my cappuccino here every morning. I do agree that the staff is a bit rough and not friendly, but I think it’s mostly due to the culture and language barrier. I would return here in a heartbeat!
Don’t be fooled: this hotel is a complete disaster. The photos online look amazing, but the reality is absolutely disgusting and poorly maintained. When we arrived and entered the room, we were shocked. There were stains everywhere, on the walls, furniture, and even on the bedding. The walls had black marks, the desk was sticky and dirty, and the bathroom was unhygienic, with rusty radiators and moldy corners. The beds were rock hard, it felt like sleeping on a wooden board. The interior was old, damaged, and nothing like the pictures. Paint peeling off, cracks in the walls, and everything looked neglected and worn down. When we reported this to the front desk, they did absolutely nothing. No apology, no solution, no compensation. The staff simply didn’t care. In the end, we decided to leave immediately after checking in because the room was unlivable. It felt more like a run-down hostel than a so-called four-star hotel. In short: a waste of money and a ruined experience. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, you deserve better than this.
