We spent 7 nights at the Panorama Palace. The hotel is beautiful and situated in front of a local beach with restaurants. The staff at Panorama are extremely welcoming and friendly. Antonio who works at the bar made our stay unforgettable, he went above and beyond to cater to our needs and took the time out of his busy evening to have conversations with us and recommend areas to visit. He is truly an amazing asset to the hotel.
This hotel does not live up to the number of stars it has. It is old and worn out. The air conditioning does not work. The people who clean it try their best, but old is old, you can't hide it. Only the hotel lobby is very nice. I feel terrible in the restaurant at breakfast. It's like it's 1989. The food is scarce. I pray for an egg to be brought to me. This is terrible. Another woman saw my egg and she asked for it, but she was refused. Eggs were not included in her group. A nightmare. I would not do it again.
The staff are incredibly rude. Franco is the worst staff member I have ever come across. He was so aggressive, attempted to restrain us from leaving the hotel unless we finished paying our bill in cash (which we did not have as we only had card). The hotel itself was nice but the service was bad.
