Panoramahotel Burgeck

Absolutely amazing! From checking in to checking out, every detail was handled beautifully! Every morning, we were greeted with a basket of gluten-free rolls. E ery meal was made gluten-free for us. The best chicken cutlets I have ever had!

We stayed in the enchanting town of Krimml for 3 nights at the family-run Hotel Burgeck, Panorama. Perched 700 meters uphill from the center, this chalet-style hotel offered unbeatable views of the meadows mountains around and to the Krimml waterfalls which we could even hear from our balcony. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped us plan our hikes, including a hiking to the top of the famous Krimml Falls, which are within walking distance, and a stunning panoramic walk in Neukirchen, where we took the Bergbahnen cable car up to the Hohe Tauern peaks. The region is rich with trails and offers spectacular Alpine scenery. The staff made a thoughtful effort to provide us with delicious vegan breakfasts and dinners. The hotel has a peaceful, serene atmosphere, and walking through the meadows to and from the hotel felt like stepping into Heidi's world, but in Krimml. Martin, the owner, even gave us a ride to and from the bus stop when we arrived and left, making our stay even more convenient and welcoming.

I did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. The food was ok nothing really stood out. The service was ok too. The hotel reviews must be pushing the ratings up on this location, not the food.
