Papagayo Golden Palms Beachfront Hotel

Beautiful hotel with awesome staff! My 1st stop while visiting Costa Rica, was a quick trip from the airport to this quaint, tucked away hotel with private beach area. Awesome views surrounding the beach area take your breath away. The rooms are so nice, comfortable & are engulfed in culture! We could hear the monkeys on the roof at night! The staff is beyond helpful & thoroughly LOVE their country & the visitors. We had fantastic conversations with the staff regarding the environment, food, culture & learned sooooo much! Can't recommend Papagayo enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Papagayo Golden Palms in Costa Rica! The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming us with genuine warmth and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and full of local touches. Every part of our experience felt relaxing and special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay in Guanacaste. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

I have stayed at the Planet Hollywood across the bay and this place was the exact opposite experience, and that was great. Golden Palms is so quiet and peaceful, lovely staff, good food and the best thing is you actually felt like you were in Costa Rica. The hotel gardens are beautifully lush with howler monkeys in the mango trees and a friendly Coati wandering around. They have bikes and kayaks to borrow. And it is a 5 minute walk along the beach to the best restaurant in the bay. Loved this hotel.
