Paradijs Eiland

This place is unbelievable, you have to be there to understand it. Starting with the size of the property itself, over to the variety of animals (i.e. dogs, ducks, silkie chicken, black swans and a parrot) up to the beautiful decoration of the park itself. It seems you are no longer in the Netherlands, but rather in Colombia. We rented the Villa, which is huge and equally impressive with it’s unique decoration and a first floor that will blow your mind. And - last but not least - the owners are the best hosts you can imagine, also no words can describe, you have to experience it. ;) Thank you a lot to both of you for making our short trip unforgettable, be sure we will come back!

De Zuilen is a hidden oasis just South of Amsterdam. When we arrived, we were greeted by, what we could only call, Elysium. You are surrounded by gorgeous handmade statues in a beautiful grounds with three ponds. For the airbnb itself, you are treated to extravangant decor with extremely comfortable sofas, a state of the art kitchen and lots of toilets. The top floor bedroom can only be described as greek carribean paradise. With a large two person jaccuzi tub, waterfall shower and steam room, you will not find a better equipped bathroom in all of the Netherlands. I genuinely think this place needs to be seen to be believed. You will not regret it!

This resort manifested an absurd surrealness. From seeing the owner walk by with a macaw, to the various colorful chickens I cannot understand what the history of this place is. But I loved it all. I highly reccomend this place.
