First off the negative so can make a choice best on needs...No Air conditioner eventhough we were told there was AC by booking agency and by hotel, so if you travel in the hottest months be ready to sleep with balcony door open (no windows) and mosquitoes biting all night. The staff doesn't speak English (some entertainers do) Rooms are not clean throughly, lots of dirt and dust bunnies on floor (dont look under the beds) the whole building has a strong sewer smell, let alone the rooms. Old installations for sure. Pool walls weren't clean and you see dirty residues at water level. Clogged shower drains so water pools when you shower. Beach ia beautiful but there's a city run off and it washes into the ocean near by the hotel so water isn't safe at all times and has a funky smell. Beds were comfortable and kitchen staff and entertainers were wonderful 👏 ❤ they keep the kids busy and food is buffet style 3 times a day. Late dinner so have snack from the store so you don't starve in between 3pm and 8pm

Live in Marinai, went on this getaway in May 2021 and it was very hot. The rooms AC was shut off and made it uncomfortable to stay in. My friends tried switching rooms and they offered them a room one floor down. Their logic was it was farther away from sun so it would be cooler. Food and amenities were very good but that heat really brought down the rating. I would call to confirm status of AC prior to booking and tbh would not go if its not on. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately we were left quite disappointed by this hotel, I tried to sum up the reasons for this down here but to be honest there were quite many. -The place seen from the outside looks not really well maintained. -There was no wifi in the rooms. -The shower wasn’t working properly on our first day and we couldn’t have a proper shower till the following morning. -The water in the toilet always have a weird colour which make you feel like it’s always dirty. -If you don’t have a room with balcony the only place to hang your swimsuits and towels is on some common hangers in the corridors’ balconies and they are quite old and rusty. -The food was disappointing, there is not much choice and the taste was always quite flat, which you wouldn’t expect especially in a country like Italy. -The red wine tasted like water and sugar and there is no way you can order a different bottle while at the restaurant. -The lifts were working poorly, it was only 3 of them for 6 floors and one of them was always making a lot of noises and we found it stuck more than once. -Some bar staff have been extremely rude, answering things like “I’m here to do this and it’s enough already” when asked to do something like getting some extra ice. Or another example: “I’m just a humble worker, you’re a customer so between us two I think you are the one whom have an advantage” which honestly to me doesn’t make sense at all. I’m paying for a service, I’m not pretending anything extraordinary, just would like to get a kind service to enjoy a holiday I worked for. -They use tons of plastic cups. Imagine how many people just want water because of the heat, as a policy they don’t give you a jug at the bar even if it’s 6 of you, they just keep giving really tiny plastic cups over and over again. One person that has always been super kind and helpful with us was the lady cleaning our rooms on the 6th floor, I think her name is Maria. Also we quite enjoyed the restaurant closer to the beach, the food there seems to be much nicer than the one served in the main restaurant but it is only open for lunch and you need to book yourself in in advance.
