Paradise Hot Springs Thermal Water & Volcano Views

Highly recommend this property for its location, amenities, and staff. We’re one of those couples that’s bad at “relaxing,” and yet we easily passed a full day just rotating through the six hot spring pools. I’d added “it’s our birthday” when I made the reservation, and there was a cake, a card, and a bottle of wine in our room when we checked in. We briefly had friends with young kids join us, and a staff member driving by in a golf cart saw the younger boy stare at the cart and so offered a ride. It was five minutes out of his day but was a huge hit for a young guest. The pools were cleaned daily and were never crowded, and we always found one that was comfortable, even with the temperature variability due to rain. It was an ideal spot to relax and we always felt like our needs (even the ones we didn’t know we had) were the priority. Breakfast was decent and the drinks at the pool bar were always tasty and served with a smile. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and current construction shows that they’re expanding their amenities, though it does add some daytime noise. We were glad we went with this cozy boutique spot instead of the popular hot springs resort next door that always had a line of cars lined up to enter.

Paradise Hot Springs is our go to spot for thermal pools! The pools are amazing and there are so many different temperatures! There is even an amazing swim-up pool bar. ( with things for kids)The food is delicious; there is something for everyone. The lady who personally makes you eggs is so skilled! The rooms are amazingly comfortable, even if you don’t stay in the most expensive ones(though I do love their view). And you get a special pool just for guests! The girl who checked us in was so nice, friendly and helpful! As for the location, it is perfect! The hotel is right in front of the Arenal Volcano, perfect for photos. All in all, I highly recommend Paradise Hot Springs.

Just gorgeous grounds and plenty of space in the hot springs. 8 pools of varying sizes, 3 different temperature ranges. Some have loungers, most have bench style, and the cool/warm pool has a swim up bar. The reception staff were very sweet and helpful, as we were only on a day pass.
