Tucked away in the peaceful streets of Colombo 7, Tintagel offered an experience that far exceeded my expectations. The moment I arrived, I was taken in by the beauty of its colonial architecture and the calm, refined atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a different era, full of charm and elegance. I chose to sit in the courtyard, which was lush, intimate, and beautifully lit in the evening. The food was absolutely top notch. Every dish was thoughtfully presented and full of flavor. The Sri Lankan black pork curry stood out the most. It was rich, spicy, and perfectly cooked. I also had one of the best chocolate mousses I have ever tasted. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind without ever feeling intrusive. What truly set Tintagel apart for me was the atmosphere. It is rare to find a place that feels this refined while still being so welcoming. Whether you are there for a quiet dinner, a romantic evening, or simply to treat yourself, this place delivers. I highly recommend Tintagel to anyone visiting Colombo who wants more than just a meal. This is an experience.

This was just a quick overnight stay as we were passing through. What a lovely home. Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, many areas to sit and relax. May be a great place to hold business meetings. Thank you to the absolutely wonderful staff for your accommodation and attending to my every need. I was very unwell, and you all went above and beyond to provide me comfort.
