Wonderful stay at Paradise Suites Halong! A lovely, quiet hotel on Tuan Chau Island - perfect for a night before cruising Ha Long Bay. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, with an especially comfortable bed. The staff were kind and professional, and breakfast was rich and delicious. We also enjoyed the pool and access to a private beach. The location is calm and a bit isolated - ideal for relaxing before your trip. Great value for money. Highly recommended!
Nice rooms for a cheap price! Pool and beach are 5 min shuttle ride, it’s walking distance to the marina if you want to do a day cruise. A bit far from Ha long city (20 min grab ride) but way quieter!
We stayed at this hotel before our cruise, and while the rooms were stylish, spacious, and the bed very comfortable, our overall experience was disappointing. The pool advertised in the offer is not on-site — it’s a public pool located 20 minutes away. The area was dirty, and we even saw rats — one near the pool and another entering the small hotel snack bar by the beach. Definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel facility. The pool is the main reason why I give 1 Star. We booked a hotel on the beach with a pool to relax after few days of intense sightseeing and it turned to be not as advertised. If you need a towel for the pool, you must collect it yourself from the hotel reception, which is inconvenient. The food was the biggest letdown. We ordered pizza via room service, and it turned out to be frozen pizza. To their credit, the hotel apologized and removed it from our bill after we mentioned it in their feedback form. However, breakfast was of similar quality — mostly ready-made food. The pancakes and waffles were frozen products, despite staff insisting they were fresh. After that, we decided to avoid eating at the hotel and traveled to Halong City (20 minutes by taxi) every day to find better food options. The location is quite isolated, with very few dining options nearby. On the positive side, the hotel kindly provided a free shuttle to the marina for our tour, which was appreciated. Overall, this hotel might work if you’re staying for just one night before a cruise, but we wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. The rooms are lovely, but the food quality, lack of facilities, and remote location don’t justify the price.
