Review is for terrace Cafe. Views are gorgeous. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Drinks inside with strong AC was just what we needed on a hot summer day. Only 1 lady working there and she was a bit over stretched on Friday night.

Wonderful overnight stay! Wish we had a pool but no one is complaining. It’s a beautiful hotel with an amazing view and lovely service.

Avoid the Restaurant at Parador – A Major Disappointment We chose to have lunch at the Parador restaurant based on its stunning location and a recommendation in the Michelin guide. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest regret of our trip to Arcos. Despite the incredible view from the terrace, guests dining from the menu aren't allowed to sit outside. Instead, you're seated in a dark interior room with barred windows — the view is completely lost, and the ambiance is uninviting. The food was even worse. I ordered the pasta with king prawns, and it was shockingly bad — mushy, clearly not homemade, and tasted like it had been cooked days ago and reheated in a microwave. The prawns tasted off, and I couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites. Thankfully, the staff removed it from the bill. While the service was polite, the atmosphere among the staff felt tired and joyless — zero energy, zero enthusiasm. It left us with the impression that no one there enjoys working in that restaurant, and it shows. In short, do not eat here. If you’re tempted by the view, stop by the terrace to take a few photos, then head to one of the many other wonderful restaurants in Arcos for a meal that won’t ruin your day. Don’t make the same mistake we did.
