Lovely location, Staff were friendly, food was good. The reason for the three stars for accommodation was that the air conditioning did not work in our room. The receptionist tried to fix it unsuccessfully. Great location if you like hiking.
Testing drive to get up to the Parador ... but great location when we arrived. Rooms were 'okay' .. aircon did not work! Food was good. Nice outdoor pool.
Went for a drink before deciding whether to stay. The setting is superb and the public rooms immaculate whilst the staff were all obliging and friendly. Lots of walks and trails nearby. BUT it is listed as dog friendly and we had our small well behaved dog with us. He would only be allowed in our room, could not go on the outside terrace or in the grounds despite a cost of 20 euros a day and a deposit of 100 being required!
