This is a premium hotel in a stunning location. Rooms are classic style, clean and spacious but a little dated (which is the style). The location is unbeatable right by the old town and castle, over a short bridge. Walks being already halfway up the hill, walks are accessible for most. The catering in the hotel is excellent, as is consistent with the whole area. Service in the restaurants is excellent and attentive. I believe this hotel offers great value and service. Recommended.
Beautiful building, great room, superior service with special thanks to Mr. Alvarez for his superb customer friendliness at check-in. One minor comment about the area around the swimming pool where better maintenance is required.
The hotel is in a beautiful building with amazing views, large rooms, good breakfast with variety of local specialties and restaurant with good and inexpensive though small choice of food. Restaurant staff is very nice and polite. I gave 3 stars to service, because of terrible reception staff (inpolite, not ready to accommodate any requests and overall badly trained for such a classic hotel priced as most 5 stars hotels).
