Parador Hotel Lerma - an old medieval castle was an excellent place to stay on our motorcycle touring around Spain with either parking at the hotel (paid) or in the main square directly in front of the hotel (free).
Beautiful hotel, lovely friendly team and fantastic food! Would love to visit again, such a grand hotel, with a wonderful history :)
We were so disappointed with the room here. The mirror was askew, as was the lamp, and the rug was completely off centre. The rug was stained. The duvet was also stained (blood?). The walls were covered with black marks. Such a nice location and building but we have stayed in roadside motels with nicer and cleaner rooms. I would never spend my money here again.
