Good place for families! We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was well organized — you can easily spend the whole day by one of the pools, and the beach is close by as well. A small train runs through the area since it’s quite large. It can be a bit inconvenient if the train is full and you have to walk, but at least the paths are shaded. Breakfast was plentiful, with a wide variety of options, including lots of pastries and baked goods. We had a lovely evening at the La Bolgherese Wine Bar, with professional service and live music. The dinner and the wine were both excellent. Photo attached from the "Antipasti"we ordered. We didn’t have the best experience at Forte Pizza & Grill, but in the end, they handled things fairly and everything turned out fine. The appetizer and the Margherita pizza were tasty there too. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it!"
We recently stayed at Paradù and unfortunately, the experience was below our expectations. While the pools, especially those for kids, were clean and enjoyable, the overall offering (accommodation+meals+facilities) didn’t match this price. The restaurants were only worth visiting for breakfast — other meals did not meet the quality you’d expect from a resort in this price range. Room facilities were lacking, and is not clean as expected. In the evenings, the resort was poorly lit, making it difficult to move around, especially when trying to reach the rooms. The animation and entertainment sessions were overcrowded and poorly organized. Overall, while the natural setting has potential, the resort lacks the quality and attention to detail you’d expect for what you’re paying. It’s definitely not a luxury experience.
ce țeapă ne-am luat: other than a few employees which were very cool people and had nothing to do with the reception, the managers and the resort policy in general, everything was so bad it became funny. the location has the best false advertising i've ever seen. if you believe that you're going to book a private and intimate place to stay near the beach, think again, because the resort has about a thousand little houses, so for the price of only a few thousand €, you can stay near the parking lot, which is just 2km away from the beach (booking says it's a distance of 250m, but the resort probably measured it from the restaurants' line; if you check their official website, only a few unities are listed there because it's an industry in the woods and they can't possibly list them all). if it doesn't seem like much, think again yet again because only after you check in and pay for the entirety of your journey (everything is non-refundable, obviously), you'll be provided with a map (don't lose it, you'll really need it) and the resort literally has streets, a train to get you places and most lucky people who know how to bike do so. if you're hungry, you need to plan it around the opening hours of the 4-5 restaurants they have at the resort, but all of them close between 10-12 and 14-19; the pool bar is open though, until 14:45, good luck to you if you're actually hungry and want more than an already prepared snack or to drink away your hunger, have dietary restrictions or you're a vegetarian/ vegan; if you need to buy something from their store, it too has specific opening hours, it's mostly closed. a few beaches belong to the resort, in august, their price is 40€ per sunbed, 50 if you want to be in the first line. the beach is so crowded that you can easily make new friends because you'll be almost sitting on them. if you ditch the sunbeds and compromise for a towel on the beach, you'll need to pay for that too, of course. the tap water at the reception seemed free and that's about it. you'll go with a golf-cart after check-in to the unity that was assigned to you, from the parking lot where you have to leave your car, it's their luggage service, but the price of this service needs to be paid at check-out, it's only included for check-in, a fun fact we found out. otherwise you can just leave your luggage in the woods and wait for the free luggage service, between 8-10 (the check-out has to be done at 10, but they found a loophole), where it'll be thrown in a car with everyone else's luggage and brought to the reception, then you're on your own. we left a day early, although we tried to leave as soon as we arrived, but again, non-refundable, and we had to wait about an hour for the paid luggage service at check-out or we could have listened to the reception and carried our bags ourselves, for about 2km, but for free! i must say that the policy of the resort, the non-refundable booking is one, we agreed to it, but the actual conditions of your staying are something else entirely and they will be nothing as they seem. finally, i must confess we were upgraded, after the first night, because there was already someone else in the unity we reserved (we waited 3h for this to be sorted out), so another one was given to us, only 1km away from the beach, but kinda close to the parking lot, win some, lose some. considering we wanted to leave as soon as we've arrived and saw what we were dealing with, we tried again the next morning and pleaded with the management for a partial refund for the two remaining nights we weren't gonna be using, best they could do, an upgrade of unity, half a km from the beach. we still left a day early because simply no. also, don't expect 4 stars services, you need to pay for cleaning, for example, otherwise it's only provided for the ones who stay there more than 7 nights, somewhere in the middle of their staying. all in all, it's perfect for kids, they'll learn how to walk, and for people who wanna stay in the woods around so many other people that they'll feel in the heart of a busy metropolis.
