Had a great stay at Paragon Hotel Seminyak. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Great breakfast but it could be better if they have more varieties. Room service was fantastic, fast. Check in was easy. Deposit 300IDR if you stay more than a night. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, perfect for a Bali getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Paragon Hotel Seminyak was fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great location close to Seminyak’s shops and restaurants. But what truly made it special was the staff — they are some of the loveliest, most welcoming people we have ever encountered, always going out of their way to help and make us feel at home. Their warmth and professionalism turned a good stay into a memorable one. Highly recommended!

We checked in late at night on our first day, only to discover that our room had a connecting door to another guest room—occupied by loud neighbors who kept us up. The next morning, we opened the curtains to check out the balcony view and were met with a depressing sight: a field full of garbage and an unattractive, barren lawn. So much for a relaxing holiday view. Next, we headed to the hotel’s in-house gym, hoping to start the day with a workout. What we found was an outdated, musty-smelling room with more than half of the equipment broken and a stained, worn-out carpet. This left us wondering how this hotel could possibly qualify as a 4-star property, especially when compared to other 4-star hotels we’ve experienced. When we raised our concerns with the manager, he simply turned on the air conditioner in the gym and told us the equipment was already scheduled for repair—in 1–2 weeks. Completely useless to us, as our stay was only 4 days. We contacted our booking platform, which had this hotel marked as a certified partner, to ask for a relocation due to our dissatisfaction. The hotel’s manager, however, was not very understanding and only offered an upgrade to a junior suite with a pool view. Regarding the gym, he said it was “out of his hands” as he was just an employee. But isn’t a hotel employee—especially a manager—responsible for addressing guests’ issues? Upon reading other reviews, we realized the gym problem wasn’t new—it had been going on for quite a while. This confirmed our impression that there’s a serious lack of proper management here. We finally agreed to move to the junior suite, even though it was visibly worn and outdated. Some lights didn’t work and had to be fixed. Every day we were given an insufficient number of towels and had to repeatedly call the front desk to ask for extras. One day I was even told over the phone that there were no towels left. Only after insisting that I needed a warm compress for my wife did they “suddenly” find some after checking with housekeeping. The shower area constantly flooded, and the kitchen was practically unusable due to burned-in grime. Bottom line: The hotel doesn’t live up to its 4-star rating. The facilities are outdated, the service is inconsistent, and the management lacks both initiative and accountability. We definitely wouldn’t return—and wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a comfortable stay in Seminyak.
