Paramount Times Square

From the moment we arrived, we got incredible service. Natalie at the front desk checked us in an hour early (there was also not a line on Sunday at 3 pm -- woo!) and was absolutely hilarious while she gave us the scoop on all the pertinent info and amenities. She also assured us that if we needed anything while we were there to ask for her. The hotel itself has a cool theatrical vibe with fun neon lights in the lobby and pictures of theaters and dancers and audiences throughout the halls and elevators. We stayed 2 nights and everything was quiet in our room. We had full control over the A/C and even got chilly in the evenings after coming home warm. The rooms are NYC small, but we just needed a place to sleep and freshen up, so for the excellent price, we were more than happy we what we got. Everything was clean and in working order. We didn't have to call on Natalie at all, although she was so fun, I was tempted. ;) Bottom line, if you are looking for a great location, no fuss, inexpensive place to sleep and shower while you are in the city, with a staff that will take good care of you, the Paramount is a great fit!

Location Location Location! If you want a prime Times Square location in the heart of New York for a decent price this is the place! The lobby is beautiful and newly renovated. The rooms aren’t great. AC is weak, lacks wall art, and other little things to make it look complete. Bathroom is fine. We had a stunning view of a brick wall. Service was good. Quiet which is nice

This was our first time staying here and we booked through a 3rd party for a double bed room for 1 night. The location is excellent, lobby is beautiful. When we got our room, we noticed that it was very hot so we turned on the AC, but for some reason it didn’t work. The maintenance checked and said they needed to order parts for it. After this we requested the front desk for a new room around 11pm and the lady there was very rude and said she didn’t have any rooms but she can refund the $45 tax that we paid directly to the hotel apart from paying our 3rd party. She didn’t offer to look for another hotel or refund our full money. All she said was call your 3rd party to reschedule. After 1hr of being with them on the call, around midnight we went and requested another person called Jackie to give us a room. And within 10min she got us a room, a much bigger room with a working AC. How was Jackie able to get us a room within an hour, and not the other lady, we will never know but we are grateful to Jackie.
