Awesome all around. This is a smaller hotel with a more personalized experience than something like the Marriott hotel. The staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate every request asked of them. The food was of a very high quality, the rooms are clean and well kept. A small but nice pool with direct access to the beach. If you are looking for a comfortable more local experience then book here. If you would like more of a large resort type experience then book next door. For our family of four this was perfect! A big thank you to the manager Krishantha and his staff.

A Hidden Gem Right by the Beach – Perfect for Families! We had a truly wonderful stay at Parangi Weligama Bay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The property itself is beautiful — located right on the beach with easy access, a stunning view, and a peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and very well maintained — a hit with both kids and adults. A big shout-out to Manager Krishantha, Chef Sumantha, and the amazing staff — Sameera and Achala — for going above and beyond. They made us feel at home, offered great local tips, and even helped take care of our little one, which meant a lot to us as parents. The food was homely, delicious, and served with warmth — truly one of the highlights of our stay. Whether you’re a couple, a solo traveler, or a family like us, Parangi is a fantastic choice in Weligama. Highly recommend and would love to return!

We stayed in the room - Superior Family (Sea View Family). The property is situated in a very attractive and convenient beachfront location. However, the price charged for the accommodation is significantly disproportionate to the quality offered. The rooms are in poor condition, with terrace windows featuring visible gaps of about one centimetre. Despite running the air conditioning continuously, hot air enters through these openings, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. Small reptiles, such as geckos, also find their way indoors through these gaps. The furniture is outdated, and the floors are not clean. Overall, the price-to-value ratio is extremely poor and highly disappointing.
