Parc Hotel Gritti

The hotel is in a great location, but looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and drink is reasonably priced, and the cocktails are especially good. We went half board, the buffet breakfast and evening meal had plenty of choice and catered for all.

Charming Bardolino, hotel could improve Bardolino is truly a gem on Lake Garda — relaxing atmosphere, beautiful lakeside walks, and great food options. The Parc Hotel Gritti has a prime location, just steps from the town center and the beach. The hotel itself has large, functional spaces and seems more suited to a senior clientele. The overall style feels rather basic, even a bit "clinical", and certain details — like cleanliness and overall upkeep — could use more care. Organization, especially regarding parking, wasn’t the most efficient. Overall, a peaceful stay, but the price felt a bit too high for the quality and service received.

Recently stayed at this hotel and would not recommend or stay here again. The hotel needs investment and refurbishment. Our room was only superficially cleaned and most days not serviced until late afternoon coffee and tea not being replenished regularly. The hotel facilities advertised were not open. Lounge and tea rooms we did not see. American bar, Piano Bar were never open. One evening we had a thunderstorm there was nowhere to sit inside the only place that was open was the Pool bar. Worst all it was the food especially at dinner in the Cipriani buffet restaurant. The food was of incredibly low quality and not replenished often even during peak times. Hot food is presented in enclosed food warmers and every time a person opened the lid the condensation would run off the lid into the food. The restaurant does not use table clothes only wipeable clothes that are cleaned using the same dirty cloth on all tables. No cleaning spray was used. The staff very aloof and almost hostile they did not accommodate, welcome nor acknowledge guests in any way into the restaurant with a smile or a good morning or good evening through the week that we were there. We notice that they were very quick to close the restaurant and would turn guest away 30 minutes before closure. The remaining food being cleared away very quickly. The hotel is in a fantastic location being so close the Lake, grounds are lovely and there are more than plenty sun beds for guests. I would not recommend this hotel and certainly never return.
