Just returned from spending 10 wonderful days at Parco Aurora hotel. Views are amazing, staff throughout hotel are friendly and extremely accommodating. Front desk is top notch especially Mrs Restituta always ready to help. My family and I all felt like we were home and amongst family. Thank you for your hospitality. Hope to see you all soon!
Very good location at a quiet seafront, with view facing the nearby island of Procida. A few private beaches nearby and 3min walk to the long shopping street. 20min walk to Ischia Porto and Castello Aragonese in both directions. Friendly staff who are always helpful. I had a spacious room with a large balcony with side seaview. Bathroom is big. There are 2 outdoor pools as well as plenty of sitting areas and sun lounges. The wellness area has 2 hot spring pools (one of them has jacuzzi), 1 small cold pool, 1 sauna and 1 steam sauna, available in the morning and until 19:00. Breakfast is average and basic, with eggs which you can boil yourself, bread and cold cuts, yoghurt, muesli, croissant, cakes, etc. If you book half-board, dinner is very good and value for money. Antipasti at buffet, then soup, primi, secondi and dessert served on your table. The sword fish grill and octopus pasta were yummy! Dinner time from 19:30 to 20:30. The guests were mostly elderly, with some family with kids, and are mostly Italian and German. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience.
The staff were wonderful, food was good but repetitive, AC would not cool our room well and was hot at night, asked twice to get it fixed, no luck. Internet was too slow and only available near front desk. Hotel pools were full of mold and hard water build up, water was cloudy. No towels for pool or spa, bring your own. Long walk to their beach area. Thermal pools required a $5 per person taxi ride to reach, but well worth it. Room was clean, except for water glasses which appeared soiled with hair inside one glass. Would rate it a single star, except that the staff were so great and the thermal pools amazing.
