A Fairytale Wedding at Parco dei Principi – A Dream Brought to Life Getting married at Parco dei Principi was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. I had imagined getting married there ever since I was a little girl, and when the big day finally arrived, it was even more magical than I had ever imagined. Planning a wedding from Canada came with its challenges, especially not being able to see the venue in person until just two weeks before the wedding. But from the very beginning, the incredible team at Parco dei Principi made everything feel possible. Their professionalism, kindness, and constant support gave me so much peace of mind throughout the entire process—even from across the ocean. A special thank you to Fernando Carlucci, the director, who was by my side from day one. He followed me through every step of the planning process, always available, always reassuring, and always making sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it. I felt truly supported and understood. In the final days before the wedding, Veneranda and maître Nicola stepped in and took such wonderful care of us. They helped us finalize the layout of the room, ensured every detail of the timeline was clear, and made the entire day flow seamlessly. Their calm presence and organization were invaluable during such an emotional and exciting time. And then, there’s Chef Pasqualino—what an incredible talent! The food was simply unforgettable. Our guests were blown away by the aperitif buffet by the pool, loved the beautifully presented and delicious seated lunch, and were absolutely amazed by the sweet buffet. But if we had to pick one moment that stole the show, it was definitely the Spaghettata alla Corte d’Assisi—what a brilliant and delicious way to end the evening! As a final touch, they gifted us the bridal suite, which was elegant, romantic, and truly unforgettable. Every single guest was treated with such care, attention, and respect—it was clear that the entire team poured their hearts into making the day perfect for us and everyone who came to celebrate. Parco dei Principi isn’t just a venue—it’s a place where dreams come true. It holds a piece of my heart forever, and I cannot recommend it enough to any couple looking for beauty, elegance, and an unforgettable experience.

The hotel seemed empty, but it was open so we asked if they had rooms. Looks good on the outside but a closer look Reveals that upkeep should be enhanced. They were nice and gave us a room with a view - nice room, very small shower, no hot water… what a disappointment. All this grand decor, tons of marble, fancy carpets, curtains, and the hot water kill the deal. Nevertheless: lovely staff, nice breakfast and a good restaurant recommendation.

This was such an uncanny and bizarre experience. The hotel clearly has the potential to be a 5-star resort, but everything was off. While it was beautiful and grand in appearance it is lacking maintenance - all the beautiful water features were off, majority of the hotel’s lights were off so you have to walk down halls and stairways in darkness. Don’t even consider using the amenities, the pool looks fine (outdated and not maintained, but fine), but the gym is almost non existent and not like the photos - plus the fact it is down unlit back hallways and stairways made it feel like no one had stepped foot in there in years. The hotel just seemed like it wasn’t prepared to have guests, which made it feel uncomfortable and eerie, like we weren’t meant to be there. We barely saw any other guests, the staff would send us down dark back corridors with vague directions on how to find our way, and the mediocre breakfast was full of warm yogurt and old fruit. While the rooms themselves were basic but fine to stay in, everything else was not as advertised. If you’re looking for a relaxing, comfortable hotel resort this is not it… it’s like it was a 5-star resort 30 years ago, and then just stopped trying completely.
