The hotel is definitely underrated, I think most reviews are quite outdated. We had a very good experience there. The staff was really welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed (a fridge, a sejf, cosmetics). Very comfortable beds. There are outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzi with sea view (fantastic!), and most rooms have a balcony with gorgeous sea view - such a beautiful sunset! Overall, the location is quite away of everything, but the views pay it off;) The hotel offers free shuttle bus to Forio (every 30 min), and there's also a public bus stop just a few meters away (so you can easily get to Ischia Porto or San'Angelo).

Nice stay with wonderful Italian hospitality, but is closer to 3-star. A few necessary improvements in the room would be to have hotel info & water in the room and working refrigerator. Bed was quite old European style and very old lumpy pillows! Bathroom is very small. Water is a €3 charge at dinner. Outdoor pool + small bar + jacuzzi was great. Wifi connectivity throughout property. My double room was outdated. Location is slightly inconvenient but lovely views. The biggest disappointment was the old indoor therme spa pools and turkish bath. These and the changing rooms are not kept clean nor hot. This was my biggest reason for selecting this lodging.

I booked this hotel by accident while traveling in Ischia. I noticed the error within an hour of booking and called the venue to cancel as I already had a reservation on the island. They rudely refused to refund me and also refused to apply the credit towards a night that I could actually stay there. Seems very unfair to guests and travelers, the customer service reps were lacking empathy and basic human compassion. Would not recommend or stay there in the future. Very far from the port also so you'll need a taxi or booked car to get around.
