This boutique hotel is so charming and cozy. I stayed in three different rooms here and loved them all. There’s a nice rooftop area open to all guests—no Acropolis view but that’s ok. The location is perfect, just steps away from amazing drinks and dining. I appreciate that the staff also let my mom and I keep a couple small bags there between our reservations as we had a lot with us that we didn’t need when visiting the islands (we were traveling before Greece). I highly recommend Parea and would stay there again.
We had a great stay at Parea Hotel. The location was perfect — right in the Little Kook area, super easy to find, and walkable to everything we needed (including the Monastiraki metro station). Even though the neighborhood is busy and full of life, our room was surprisingly quiet thanks to great soundproofing. The room itself was modern, spacious, and very cute — a great place to come back to after a day of exploring. It was nice to have a balcony to have our morning coffee. We especially liked the keyless entry system with a code, so we didn’t have to fuss with keys. Another thoughtful touch was the cold filtered water available in the lobby — it was very appreciated after long, hot walks around the city. Parea Hotel was exactly what we were looking for in a city stay — stylish, convenient, and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it!
Very nice boutique hotel with only 15 rooms situated in central Athens close to Monesteraki Square and metro station. We had room 13 with a big terrasse and beautiful big windows. Very quiet for central Athens. Clean rooms and nice maid service. There is a small elevator and a charming roof top terrace. AC is working perfectly. A very smiling and friendly women in the reception helped us with restaurant suggestions. Only bad thing is the breakfast place. If you have included breakfast you eat at the restaurant next door. You get a very small menu only for the hotel guests with only 4 set combinations. You can not have tea instead of coffee. Nor have both coffee AND orange juice. If you choose the good greek youghurt bowl you are stuck with the terrible sand-cake and some toasted stale bread. The service is very slow and inattentive. Most mornings we waited up to 25 minutes for our small set menu. One woman with curly hair was very smiling and friendly. All the rest didn’t really care. Suggestion for the hotel: Make a different deal with the restaurant. Maybe a list of all items and then you can choose 5 items. Then you can for example choose to have coffee AND juice but not greek cake and old bread. And tea should be an option. So we can really recommend this wonderfull boutique hotel but the breakfast is not why you stay here!
