Parisons Plantation Experience – Cherakara Bungalow is a charming heritage homestay nestled within a historic tea estate. This beautifully preserved bungalow features four spacious bedrooms and a large, inviting living room. A team of three to four well-trained staff members ensures guests are well looked after throughout their stay. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll to the recreational area for activities and relaxation. Surrounded by lush greenery, the property is dotted with fruit trees and offers stunning views of the surrounding tea plantations. The colonial-style bathroom, complete with a large wrought iron bathtub, adds to the bungalow's timeless charm. The food is simple Kerala style food veg/non veg chicken curry, fish fry, rice and yummy dragon chilly pickles and mango salads. Overall a great experience. The only drawback I experienced was the approach to payment. After a long drive of 5 to 6 hours, we were immediately approached by the staff for full payment even before we had checked into our room or set down our luggage. It felt abrupt and quite unexpected. This could have been handled more gracefully—perhaps by collecting the advance at the time of booking or waiting until guests have comfortably settled in.

Awesome resort in its segment....good rooms & hygiene well maintained...best in hospitality...Two types of bungalows available currently, another bungalow under renovation. Heritage bungalow has common pool whereas Boutique bungalow doesn't have pool. Good food available. 2tea factories present near bungalows owned by Parisons where you can visit it with guide as a complimentary service. Approximately 4500 acres of tea estate it is & you can have good Views especially in during sunrise & sunset. Overall a very good experience it is

Property is admist the scenic beauty of tea plantations. It is the perfect getaway place from the hustle and bustle of city. The place is beautifully managed by the manager Binoy and his team. Very courteous and knowledgeable about the age old property and its history. Tea factory tour was great especially because it was guided by Binoy and team. We loved the experience and hope to come here again.
