Honestly - for London standards, this is a fantastic hotel that deserves a much higher rating. I really want to mention how nice and helpful the staff was (young man with glasses + the cleaning staff), they really went above and beyond for me. I had a single room and felt safe as a young(ish) woman traveling alone. I loved the AC as well - most hotels in London are stuffy and too warm in summer, but not this one. Will come back for sure. All the best to the lovely staff!
Really friendly and smart staff, great guys on reception helped me post something and also check out early due to flights. It's clean, beds are comfy, good shower, great location. I'm surprised to see some bad reviews from the past - I think the business must have improved as I really liked it. The room wasn't huge but who cares - you have all of London to enjoy! And it was a great night sleep when I got back. Thank you, will definitely stay again. 🫶
Amazing cosy hotel in superb location. About 5 min walk from Baker St underground. Very clean bedrooms, corridors and reception area. The reception itself was in the separate building to our room, only across the road. The staff welcoming us was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on 3rd floor and no lift so bear that in mind. Bedroom has a microwave (quite handy), all amenities (shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, dental brush kit etc) and teas/coffees facilities. The room itself was spacious enough for 2 people. Mattress was very comfy. It would have been useful to have an ironing board and an iron but I'm sure they're able to provide if you request this. The restaurant for breakfast is in the main reception block in a conservatory so it was a bit small. Options were the basic English breakfast foods, cheeses, jams, bread and yogurts. The pastry was quite stale and hard however. But would recommend for the stay.
