Best hotel in NYC! Spent a week at this hotel celebrating my mums 60th birthday! The location, the rooms, the service were second to none. Ana on the front desk is a credit to the hotel! I think at peak periods they would do with more support of the front desk but the ladies handled it brilliantly. This is the only place I’ll stay in the city going forward

Hospitality Excellence Under Pressure – Park Central Delivers with Grace I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 40 years, and let me tell you—it takes a lot to impress me. But Park Central Hotel not only impressed me, they truly earned my respect. I stayed here on business during a particularly challenging time for the hotel: they were transitioning their entire reservation system, which was unexpectedly down for three full days. This kind of disruption can be catastrophic for guest experience—but the staff handled it with the kind of grace, professionalism, and resilience that is becoming all too rare. Despite the circumstances, the front desk team remained calm and composed—even when facing entitled and at times, downright rude behavior from guests who refused to understand that technical issues were beyond the control of the agents. Frankly, I found myself wishing I could step in and remind people what patience and kindness look like. A special shoutout to Brian in Sales, who was an absolute rock—steady, proactive, and sincerely committed to making things right for everyone involved. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless and cheerful. The bell staff was helpful, welcoming, and never let the chaos behind the scenes touch the guest experience. Everyone wore the stress well, without ever compromising the guest-first attitude that defines true hospitality. This team turned what could have been a disaster into a case study in poise and professionalism. My highest compliments to the entire staff for a job beautifully executed under extreme pressure. If you’re considering a stay at Park Central, rest assured: you’re in exceptional hands.

Our stay at Park Central Hotel was truly awful from start to finish. We were moved THREE times during our stay. In the first room, my daughter saw a ROACH, completely unacceptable. When we raised this with management, the manager tried to dismiss it by calling it a "water bug" as if that made it any better. Completely unacceptable and insulting. We were then offered a second room, but the entire floor reeked of cigarette smoke, and the room smelled strongly of mould. We had no choice but to move again to a third room, which was filthy. The sink was leaking, water drained very slowly, and there were multiple maintenance issues: a broken switch, a broken towel rail, and no fridge (the first room had one). We specifically requested a fridge to store baby milk, but staff did absolutely nothing to resolve it. On top of that, the third room had no shower curtain, so we had to request one ourselves, something that should have been checked before our arrival. Throughout our stay, the staff were not helpful and at times seemed indifferent and unbothered by the issues we raised. The manager shrugged our concerns off by offering 3 coupons to the small cafe at the lobby which had small flies hovering over their muffins. The manager offered no follow up to our concerns. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had, with poor service, dirty facilities, and little or no accountability from the staff. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are far better places to stay where guests are treated with basic respect and hygiene standards are met.
