The hotel is good, but the receptionist’s behavior was bad. When I checked in, I told the employee that I could check out at 1 pm. He told me yes, no problem. On the day of checkout, I was surprised at the reception and he told me that I would pay for a whole night because I was late from 12 pm to 1 pm for one hour. I told her that I had asked the employee for permission that I would check out at 1 pm instead of 12 pm. In general, the hotel is good, but the receptionist’s behavior is bad.

We usually choose Dedeman hotels because of their reputation for quality, comfort, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, our experience at Park Dedeman Kastamonu was very disappointing, especially considering we booked a suite. • Room condition: The air conditioning was not working properly, making the stay uncomfortable. The room had dead bugs, a persistent smell of humidity and mites, and the mini fridge had visible fungus. We had to request a replacement fridge. • Cleanliness & maintenance: It was shocking to find such poor upkeep in a hotel under the Dedeman brand. The lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance really diminished the experience. • Service: While the personnel at the breakfast buffet were warm, attentive, and kind, the staff at the lobby did not effectively resolve our issues or show the level of service one would expect from Dedeman. • Food: The breakfast itself was delicious, but it was sad to see that the overall hotel standards did not match the quality of the food. Dedeman is typically an expensive, reliable choice, but this property did not meet the expected standards. With proper maintenance and stronger front-desk service, this hotel could deliver the quality the brand is known for — but until then, I cannot recommend it.
